The nice folks at Hometown Seeds sent me a packet of survival seeds a week or so ago. I think next year I’ll use them to plant my garden, and I’ll try to journal my progress here on the blog.
Here’s some useful self reliance articles from around the blogosphere over the past couple of weeks. I’ve decided to pear down this list to just a few articles each time.
How To Fix Your Relatives’ Terrible Computer – I’ll be doing just this over the holidays. My nieces and nephews have apparently installed every available virus over the past couple of years onto their computer. Uncle Bryce to the rescue!
7 Reasons Why Things Don’t Get Done – Trying to find what it is that’s stopping you from finally getting around to that project? Here’s seven things to think about.
The First Step Towards Getting Out Of Debt – As with most things, the hardest part is getting started.
How I built a solar panel for $100 – You can too – I’m totally stoked to try this out sometime.

Just what is included in a packet of survival seeds? I wouldn’t imagine that it could have everything that you need to survive.
I love to try the solar panels too. Too bad I’m staying in an apartment blocks and no way to install the solar panel
what are survival seeds? Sounds interesting. I have to check out the link on fixing viruses on computers. My kids computer is so infected.
These self reliance are really great for people who want to save money and are interested in doing things by themselves. Thanks for sharing the great list of it.
The link on how to make a Solar Panel below $100 is one of the best read I have ever seen this month and not only that I have done it and used it to charge my batteries and use the batteries to power up my flashlights.
