I have been interested in getting my HAM radio license for a while now. By the end of the year, I’m going to do it. Here’s some resources I’ve come across about it recently.
- Study Guides – A user on a forum that I frequent made a couple of study guides for getting the tech and general class HAM licenses. I’ve heard from several folks that these study guides were all they used to prepare for (& pass) the exams.

“What is Amateur (Ham) Radio?!”, the ARRL has a great site to show you what it is all about: http://www.hello-radio.org
Practice Tests: There are several FREE websites that offer the Test Questions up in a very user friendly manner so anyone can “practice” the exam in anticipation of attending a VE session and actually taking the test.
